Stillwater Campground

Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest \ Sulphur Ranger District

Stillwater is the largest campground available on the Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest. 129 sites, including 21 with electric hookups, are a mix of single and double family campsites.  Some campsites are accessible and each provides a picnic table, campfire ring and tent pad. Parking spurs can accommodate RVs of many sizes; ranging from 25 to 40 feet in length.

Flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water, boat ramp, garbage disposal and a dump station are provided in the campground.  Campers enjoy beautiful views of Lake Granby and the surrounding Rocky Mountains from this 8300' elevation campground.  Many trails provide access to nearby willderness areas and Rocky Mountain National Park.  Lake Granby is a popular area for boating, sailing, swimming and fishing.  Common trout species are kokanee salmon, rainbow, brown, mackinaw and cutthroat.

Stillwater is generally open from mid-May through late September.  Depending on weather conditions some sites may remain open into mid-October.  Some sites are always first-come-first-served; others may be reserved for late-May through Labor Day.  Click here for rates and reservations:  Recreation.gov
