Box Elder Campground is located on the south end of Mantua, Utah. The scenic "Little Valley", as it has been lovingly called since 1863, is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains just 5 minutes from Brigham City. This shady campground has a small creek running through it and is near popular hiking and OHV trails and a small fishing lake. OHV's must remain on trailers in the campground.
Box Elder is generally open from early May through mid-October. About half the campsites, including 4 group sites, are available for reservations at least 4 days in advance. Remaining sites are first-come-first-served and fill up fast for the weekends. Check rates and availability on Recreation.gov \ Box Elder Campground
4 designated Day Use sites are available for your picnic, without a fee, for one vehicle and up to 8 people per site. Vault toilet restrooms, garbage containers, drinking water are provided in the campground. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring.
