Mountain Park Campground is located about 40 miles northwest of Ft Collins, Colorado, across the Cache la Poudres River from highway 14.  The campground has 55 campsites (some riverfront, some with electric hookups), group camping, picnic area, drinking water, vault toilets, coin showers, and trails.

Mountain Park is generally open from the third week in May through the end of September; weather permitting.  Although reservations are recommended in this popular campground there are about 20 first-come-first-served campsites.  Find camping rates and make your reservations on Recreation.gov.

The Cache La Poudre River is well known for whitewater rafting and fishing for brown, cutthroat and rainbow trout.  Hiking the Mt. McConnel Trail, William R. Kreutzer National Recreation Trail is worth exploring.  Biking and horseback riding the Young Gulch Trail is well worth the ride.
