The cozy little Stove Prairie Campground is right on the Cache la Poudre River just 26 miles northwest of Fort Collins, Colorado.  The campground has vault toilets and garbage service.  Each campsite is wheelchair accessible and has a tent pad, table and fire ring.  But bring your own drinking water as there is none in the campground.  Stove Prairie is generally open from early May to mid-October.  Check rates and reservations on Recreation.gov.

Enjoy rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking and camping on the banks of Colorado's first National Wild and Scenic River.  And check out some popular trails nearby:   Mt. McConnel TrailWilliam R. Kreutzer National Recreation Trail and Young Gulch Trail.
