Little Cottonwood Canyon contains everything the Wasatch Mountains are known and loved for. Winter skiing at Alta Ski Resort is one way to enjoy the beauties but if you haven't been here in the summer you'd better add it to your bucket list. When the snow melts off the canyon you won't believe your eyes.
In the summer Albion Basin is famous for its wildflowers, hiking trails, wildlife and amazing vistas of craggy granite mountains of the Wasatch. The campground sits at 9500' and is very popular from opening to closing; dependent on the snow levels. Reservations are recommended.
