Diamond Campground is an open-setting, with access to trailheads, waterfalls, and canyons. River fishing and hiking are a couple of the recreation activities that are popular in this area. The campground is generally open from late-April through late-October.
Cottonwoods and willows shade some campsites along Diamond Fork Stream and Wanrhodes Creek. Some sites have a pavilion over the table. Group sites have a large pavilion over all the tables. Diamond Campground offers group sites, single and double-family sites and walk-to tent sites. Vault toilets, drinking water and garbage removal are provided. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided on cement pads at each site.
Fishing for brown and cutthroat yield good results. There are many opportunities for hiking, biking and scenic views in the area. An interpretive nature trail winds through the campground and beautiful red rock formations like Diamond Fork Arch are nearby. Fifth Water Hot Springs is a popular reward at the end of a 2.5-mile trail. You'll find several hot springs pools of varying temperatures; the top being the hottest. Monks Hollow Trail is popular with hikers and mountain bikers as well as OHV's.
Diamond has a mix of first-come-first-served family sites and others that can be reserved up to 6 months before your arrival date. Reserve the group sites up to 1 year in advance of your arrival at Recreation.gov
