This is the time of year when many states are stocking lakes and teaching families the joys of fishing.  This family fishing event is on Eckman Lake, between Blackberry Campground and Waldport, Oregon.  The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) invite you to introduce youth to the fun of fishing through Family Fishing Days.  Kids under 14 fish for free.  Free fishing tips for all ages.  The event will be held between 8:30 am and 2 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Nelson State  Wayside, Eckman Lake, near Waldport, Oregon.
