This group campground includes 9 campsites to accommodate up to 45 people.  Cleator Bend is generally open between for camping from mid-May through mid-September.  Reservations can be made up to a year in advance of your arrival.  Follow the link to check rates, availability and current forest alerts:  Recreation.gov \ Cleator Bend Group

The Breitenbush River is a tributary of the North Santiam River. The clean waters flow from short forks of snow melt in the Mount Jefferson Wilderness.  Cleator Bend is a group campground on the northern banks of the river. A vault toilet drinking water are provided. Trash collection, campfire rings and picnic tables are also provided. Firewood is sold on-site.

Campers enjoy wading, swimming and fishing for rainbow trout at the campground.  The South Breitenbush Gorge Trail trailhead is 3 miles away and is a family-friendly hike.
